The piece is an attempt of mine at hand rendered type and image, almost as if scribbled by children representing some of the things we recall from childhood winters, a few colour experiments below too.

New Anorak Design.
So, thinking more clearly this time and less about dogs with funny hats on, I began asking my fellow coursemates and friends what reminded them of winter, in a nostalgic sense, through the medium of Facebook and soon I was swamped with replies and memories of childhood winters which soon gave me the ideas to create the piece you see below!

Anorak Poster Design! (FAIL!)
So, my original idea to use images of dogs in cute hats didn't really work out how I hoped, as you can see below, the illustrations though sweet don't really convey that sense of winter or 'happy' that the magazine is aiming for.

So this was what I was going for, it's uncompleted as you can see, this is definitely a " What was I thinking?" piece, maybe I just had such an urge to draw dogs in hats I got a bit carried away and lots the idea and feel behind what the magazine wants!
